We love our children; we see them as the future pillars of the church. We are committed in raising Godly children by equipping parents and through weekly age-appropriate Bible teaching, worship, and creative arts and crafts. We see them as change agents in their schools and neighborhoods – to be the salt and light.

Children are a gift (Psalm 127:3); Children should be taught God’s ways (Proverbs 22:6, Deuteronomy 6:7); and Ministry to children is important (Matthew 18:2-6).

We see women as leaders with influence in their homes, work places, the church and the world at large. We aim at providing opportunities for them to see and to identify God-given potentials, and to realize them to pursue God-given dreams and aspirations.

Women are excellent wives (Proverbs 31:10, Ephesians 5:22-23, 33); Women are gracious and honorable (Proverbs 11:16); Women are teachers (Proverbs 31:26); Women are wise (Proverbs 14:1); A woman needs to understand her value (Proverbs 12:4; 31:10); and Women exemplify Biblical leadership (1 Timothy 3:11).

Our vision is to enable men to fulfill God’s call in their lives and to make Godly decisions. We see men as leaders in their house, work place, community, church and in the world at large. We want to develop in them a deep passion to love the Lord and to serve Him. We provide opportunity for fellowship, discipleship, practical discussions, and mentoring.

Men are the head of the house (1 Corinthians 11:3); Men are providers (Proverbs 14:23, I Timothy 5:8); Men are loving husbands (Ephesians 5:25, 28 , Col. 3:19); Men are great fathers (Ephesians 6:4; Deuteronomy 6:6-7); Men are Imitators of Christ (Ephesians 5:1-33); Men exemplify servant leadership (Matthew 20:25-28); and men aew leaders in church (1 Timothy 3:2).

At Solid Rock our mission is to take the Gospel to the people of the tri-county area, touching and transforming lives one person at a time. We would like to equip the local church to see the need, pray for the harvest, and be involved in the community and engage in personal evangelism. We also would like to do outreach work in strategic locations targeting communities, showing them the redeeming love of Christ.

Fulfilling the great commission (Matthew 28:18-20); Bringing people into the fold (John 10:16); Witnessing  with the power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8); Opportunity for the unreached to hear the gospel (Romans 10:11-15); Personal growth (Philemon 6); Not being ashamed of the Gospel (Romans 1:16); We are equipped to evangelize (1 Peter 3:15); Obligation (Romans 1:14-15); Christ’s ambassadors (2 Corinthians 5:20); To reconcile the world (2 Corinthians 5:18-19).

Prayer is a ministry in which every member can participate, both individually and corporately. Our purpose is to transform Solid Rock Church into a House of Prayer, and to raise intercessors who will stand in the gap and pray. We realize much can be done in prayer as we stand in the very last days. More prayer – more power, and it’s the only weapon that brings change. Our prayer ministry also focuses on training people in the spiritual disciplines of prayer, fasting, and studying God’s word.

Be devoted to prayer (Acts 2:42); Lift up people in and through prayer (1 Timothy 2:1); Prayer – following the early church model (Acts 2:42); Prayer is a blessing for the nation (II Chronicles 7:14); and the  Church as a house of prayer (Matthew 21:13).

At Solid Rock, our vision is to have cell groups in different areas in our community, where people from the neighborhoods can be nurtured and discipled to follow Christ. Our church is  a venue to raise lay leaders to serve and pursue a God-given passion to reach the lost.

Putting Jesus first in all things (Mark 8:34-38); Following Jesus’ teachings (John 8:31-32); Fruitfulness (John 15:5-8); Love for other disciples (John 13:35); Evangelism – Making disciples of others (Matthew 28:18-20).
